The data warehouse has become a rich source for individual level longitudinal data from multiple EMR and HTS applications that is regularly used to complement routinely available aggregate data to inform HIV epidemic control activities in Kenya. KeHMIS in collaboration with NASCOP and CDC periodically identifies areas of interest to/for the HIV program, reviews availability of data in the DWH, conducts descriptive and or predictive analysis and produces information outputs in the form of bulletins, newsletters and slide decks to inform Public Health actioning and policy decisions. These outputs are usually disseminated to the various key stakeholders through different platforms in the HIV program. The end goal is to impact evidence-based decisions and best HIS practices.
