How to perform OpenMRS platform upgrade to v2.x by manual method

The following guide outlines the process of upgrading your KenyaEMR instance from the current version 1.x to version 2.x . This upgrade is based on Ubuntu 20.04LTS, Java8, Tomcat9 and MySQL 5.6.

Users will experience  increased performance in system start-up, general system stability and security. Here is stepwise outline on how to perform the upgrade:
